Harpenden
The Harpenden Project was commissioned to update and enliven a well-loved family home. An ongoing project, Harpenden has seen its living areas transformed into bright, welcoming spaces that are intended to grow with the family.
The initial focus of this project was the original open plan living space that needed to be zoned into practical areas in order for the space to function according to the family's needs.
A tired pine kitchen was transformed with a lick of gorgeous blue paint, while red and white Chevron tiles were used on the floor to add drama and personality. A dining area, lounge and playroom were created using the same blue tones throughout to give a sense of harmony and continuity. For interest and a bit of fun, vibrant pops of red and yellow were injected into the scheme to create a lively, happy family space.
