Folds Inside Ltd collects information when it is directly given to us (“Directly Provided Data”). When you sign up for our newsletter or you make contact via the Contact form on our website you will input your information which we store in our database.

 

Why do we collect your information and how will it be used?

We collect your personal information for our legitimate interests. For example, collecting your information means that we can understand your needs and interests and provide you with our service.

Our legitimate business interests include the following:

  • For evidential purposes to manage and maintain records of client/prospect relationships/communications

  • To contact our clients/prospects by telephone or email to arrange meetings in relation to our work

  • To enhance, modify, personalise or otherwise improve our services and communications for the benefit of our clients/prospects

  • To better understand how people interact with our website and content in order to enhance the customer experience

How is your information stored?

Folds Inside Ltd uses a third-party system called MailChimp to store and process the personal data we hold. This system is password protected and GDPR compliant (https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/).

Folds Inside Ltd does not sell your personal data or other information to any third-party.

 

Security of your data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

 

For how long do we keep your information?

Folds Inside Ltd will not retain your personal information longer than necessary. We will hold onto the information you provide for the duration of the transaction whilst we are providing a service to you. Once complete we will email to find out if you wish for us to continue holding your information. The reason for continuing to hold your data at this stage would be for our ongoing marketing, we often send out newsletters or blogs via our website and email these posts direct to our clients. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Any data stored electronically will be deleted in accordance with our GDPR policy. The exception is information collected from feedback, which is held only for the duration of its usefulness, for a marketing campaign for instance. This data is anonymised, unless we have obtained your permission to use your name, and retained for internal evidential purposes, or deleted.

 

What if you change your mind and don’t want us to hold your information?

Please send us an email to confirm that you no longer wish for us to hold your information and we will delete it from our database. Once your transaction with us has come to the end we will email you asking for confirmation to continue keeping you updated with the property market through our newsletters/blogs or for any future work which may arise from the transaction. Each newsletter we send out has an ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the page where you have the option to unsubscribe from future newsletters we may send out.

 

Who will your information be shared with?

We will never share individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you. In accordance with the job, our contractors will receive necessary information via email. Once the job is completed they will delete this information.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
